Supplement. (Experiment number 17). Part 4.

As the skeleton suggested, no useful information could be found in the records of old experiments. Therefore, he had to follow the plan that Gaster proposed, which was to secretly go to the surface, catch any person and return with him. The human had to be brought, preferably similar to a princess, so that the errors in the calculations that the scientist would carry out were minimal. There was one problem, namely, the guard at the exit from the Dungeon. Of course, they guarded the passage from humans, but if any monster wants to pass by them, then logical questions will appear, like "Why?", "Where?" and similar ones. And if this is reported to the King and Queen, then the situation will worsen even more. Gaster told Sans about all this after several hours of analyzing documents, which were then put back into a cardboard box as unnecessary. – «So, now there is a reason.» – the scientist spoke, removing the box to one of the shelves in the office. – «What are you talking about?» – Sans turned to Gaster, clearly not understanding what his parent was talking about. «Your teleportation ability. We need to get to the bottom of how it works as soon as possible. I guess we don't have more than a week to do that.» – answered the scientist, putting the box on a wooden surface. – «Wait a week?... What kind of quest is this? I recognize that you need time to study... the human body and develop a solution based on future findings. But why such a short time?» – the skeleton shrugged incomprehensibly. – «I was going to tell everyone this at tonight's meeting. The King announced that, in about a month and a half, the monsters would declare war on humans. We have already prepared as best we can, and there is no need to wait even longer for people to prepare enough too.» – Gaster replied, turning around to face the skeleton and approaching it. – «Oh, so that's what such a rush... I see.» – Sans put his hands in his pants pockets. – «Okay, business, but you can't skip breakfast. Let's eat first, and then do a couple of tests with my cutTeleportation? » – quickly switched from one topic to another skeleton. — «… It seems to me that even when you grow up, you will not change in character.» – Gaster answered his son to the application for a meal, noticing his sharply cheerful behavior. – «But you're right, if we don't eat, then we can't work properly.» – the scientist turned towards the front door of office number thirteen, expecting Sans to follow him. After going to the kitchen, which had to be completed to the main building of the laboratory, since it was originally planned that the workers would go home for the night, the scientist put the water to boil and, going to a small table, sat down on a chair standing nearby. Sans took two ceramic mugs from a wooden box nailed to the wall and placed them on the table. – «Coffee?» – asked the skeleton, taking in his hand a glass jar with brown grains, standing on the edge of the table. – «Coffee» – Gaster replied, confirming his son's guess about what he would prefer to drink right now. – «Are you going to drink coffee too?» – the tall monster asked, noting that Sans did not take a bag of tea from a cellophane bag, did not throw it into his mug, as he usually did before taking the newly boiled kettle by the handle. – «I suppose that if I don't get caffeine in my body for a while, I won't be able to do my job properly.» – the skeleton replied, looking smart as if copying his parent, to which Gaster smiled only slightly. Sans poured boiling water into both mugs and also sat down on one of the chairs. A short breakfast was spent talking about which tests will be carried out with teleportation. The only thing that Sans could do now was to move a certain distance, imagining in his head exactly where he was holding the path. Having removed the dishes from the table, Gaster went to room number 27. This room cannot be called otherwise, since it had a rather large area, it was equipped specifically for various kinds of experiments, both large and small. Sans, in turn, having finished his coffee, returned to office number 13 for a couple of documents, in which, as he could, he described in detail the process of moving and his feelings during this action. Since there were no other scientists yet, and it should not be until nine in the morning, Gaster and Sans could go about their business without hiding. They had several hours for this, or rather 2-3.
