Monster under the bed

I saw a monster today's night
Near my bed. It looked at me.
It touched my fingers, then my neck,
And hid itself behind the bedside.
Another night I went to sleep,
I felt those icy mortal eyes.
With noise it rushed up on me,
The moon revealed that ugly disguise.
The rising moon scared away
This creature only for some time.
For one more night the being came
To slowly end a nasty crime.
