The reality's too quiet
For these memories so loud.
Black of night, my mind is tired,
Black of heart, my body's wired.
Closing eyes, I see you there:
Burning fire, clear air.
Reaching hand, I feel you bare:
Every inch of yours – my prayer.
Just a dream, I know by now,
No regrets, you taught me how
Survive the pain that I allow
Inside myself to kill the love.
You taught me misery and hate,
That there is no thing as fate.
But I don't know how not to wait,
You left before that, it was too late.
