canon-ish draco’s honest reaction to harry’s life at dursleys

i also can’t stop thinking of something a user in reddit said about draco finding out about harry’s household: he would weaponise it in a fight to touch his nerve. absolutely. tbh i don’t like the idea that draco would start pitying or, like, sympathising with harry because of it. he would feel mildly guilty, and then maybe say something utterly unhelpful and awkward that sounds arrogant. “er…” shocked, truly an undignified moment for a malfoy to utter such a plebeian sound. “that explains a lot, i suppose,” (that is him trying to be nice!) and harry would laugh and say “god, you’re still such a twat.”
